Things to check when your computer goes down:

bulletAre all the cables solidly attached?
bulletAre the power switches on? Do the lights show on?
bulletCheck to see of the NUM lock key works.
bulletIf not, the system is frozen and should be shut off then restarted.
bulletDoes the mouse move?  Is there an hour glass? 
bulletThey system may be busy.
bulletWait a few minutes then try Control+Alt+Delete and end task any programs not responding.
bulletUse Norton Crash Guard to unfreeze it.
bulletTry restarting or rebooting the whole system.
bulletThis usually fixes most issues.
bulletWrite down any error messages. 
bulletWhat was the system doing when it crashed?
bulletIs there a pattern here?
bulletWhen was the last time it worked?
bulletWhat is different?
bulletDoes anyone else use this system?
